 WE’RE #1 In Greater Cincinnati…AGAIN!

Congratulations, Madeira! For the 4th time in 7 years, CINCY MAGAZINE has named our community the #1 ‘Burb in Greater Cincinnati for 2015-2016.  Not that we had fallen far from the top of the list the last couple of years. We were still either #2 or #3.  We are obviously pleased to receive this recognition from CINCY MAGAZINE because it acknowledges something all of us already know: Madeira is a wonderful community comprised of many caring and involved residents, a thriving business district and our outstanding Madeira City Schools.  To see the article go to 2016 Rating the Burbs or pick-up the latest edition of CINCY MAGAZINE to learn more about our #1 Rating and to see how our neighboring communities stack up!

CITY OF MADEIRA TRAFFIC ALERT

Miami Avenue at Locust Lane

The storm water pipe under Miami Avenue near the intersection of Locust Lane is being replaced beginning Monday, November 7th.  The project will require that one lane of travel be closed during the day while construction is taking place. Both lanes will be open when construction crews are not on-site.  The contractor will be using “flaggers” to control the flow of traffic through the construction area.  Please be aware there may be delays during peak traffic periods; we recommend you find an alternative route in order to avoid these delays.  The project is expected to take one (1) week to complete.
