Madeira is home to many service organizations which sponsors several social activities which help to promote a sense of community and pride. The Madeira Woman's Club sponsors a large arts and crafts show each spring. The Madeira Police Benevolent Association sponsors a Classic Car Show in the summer. The Madeira Historical Society sponsors a dinner and wine tasting in the late summer each year that raises funds for their newly acquired building. The Madeira Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Holiday Fest right after Thanksgiving.
