Euclid Road Ph 2 - Road Closure
This spring, Euclid Road will undergo a major reconstruction. The project includes replacing storm water pipes and catch basins, curb repairs/replacement, full depth asphalt repairs, and a complete resurfacing of the street. There is also a new sidewalk to be constructed between Maple Avenue and Hosbrook Road along with a new alignment for the intersection at Camargo Road. Total contract cost is $1.7 million. The project will be conducted in 3 phases.
The project will replace all of the storm water system in the middle of the street. Because these pipes are in the middle of the street, in order to protect the workers and allow them to finish the work at a faster schedule, Euclid will be closed to through-traffic and detours will be established to re-route traffic. The project has been divided into sections, which will be closed independently for approximately 4-weeks each. The sections include:
1) Miami to Hosbrook - re-opened June 22nd
2) Miami to Laurel - closing June 22nd
3) Laurel to Camargo
