Per the City Charter, City Council will appoint a Clerk, whom is a resident of Madeira.  The Clerk attends all  Council meetings, keep its records, and perform all duties prescribed in the Charter.  The term of the appointment is for 2-years, concurrent with the term of Council appointing the Clerk.

The current Clerk of Council is Christine Doyle.  Ms. Doyle was appoint Clerk in 2017 and her term runs through November 30, 2019.
