Reserve a Shelter/Community Room

Shelter Houses
Any Madeira resident, 18 years of age or older, or business may reserve either Sellman Park or McDonald Commons shelter houses. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis, and no reservation is approved until a written APPLICATION has been received. 

To Reserving a Shelter:
  • Submit the APPLICATION to the City Offices at least 14 days prior to the date the shelter is to be used. 
  • If alcohol will be served at LIQUOR PERMIT is also required to be submitted to the City Offices.
  • Shelter houses are available for use May 1st through October 31st.
  • Reservations are accepted January 1st for the current calendar year.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the date the shelter is to be used.
Completed forms can be emailed to  Kathy Faris  or Debbie Desgrange, dropped off at the City Offices, or faxed to 513-272-4211.

Centennial Room (formerly the Community Room)
The Centennial Room may be reserved by any Madeira resident, 18 years of age or older, or business. The room may not be reserved for the purpose of business or for-profit venture where fees or charges are imposed. There is no smoking or alcoholic beverages permitted inside any part of the Municipal Building.

To Reserve the Centennial Room:
  • Submit the APPLICATION to the City Offices.
  • Please call the City offices at 513-561-7228 if you need to cancel a reservation.

On occasion, it may be necessary for the City to cancel a reservation date due to a City sponsored function needing the location. Notification will be provided as soon as the conflict arises.
